Watford have recalled forward Alex Jakubiak from his loan spell at League Two side Oxford United.
The 18-year-old Scotland Under-19 international had been due to remain with the U's until January.
"We talked to Watford and the player himself and everyone agreed that the best thing for him right now is to be back at Vicarage Road," U's head coach Michael Appleton told the club website.
Jakubiak scored once in two starts and eight sub appearances for Oxford.
Meanwhile, Charlton have granted Oxford permission to play on-loan defender Tareiq Holmes-Dennis in Saturday's FA Cup first round trip to Grimsby.
