Match ends, AFC Wimbledon 1, Dagenham and Redbridge 0.
Barry Fuller's first goal in eight years helped AFC Wimbledon to victory against Dagenham and earned his side a first win in seven games.
Dannie Bulman's deflected volley trickled inches wide before Fuller tapped in after Adam Barrett knocked down George Francomb's corner.
The Daggers could have levelled twice, but Jamie Cureton and Ashley Chambers missed clear chances.
Bulman sliced wide when well placed in the dying stages, but the Dons held on.
The win lifts them up to 14th as Dagenham drop to 22nd, just three points outside the League Two relegation zone.
AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley told BBC London 94.9:
"We started well and looked like we were pressing on and trying to score early on in the game. But it was strange because there were points when we weren't brave and were playing backwards and we were dropping a little bit when we were out of position.
'"The second-half became a bit of scrap, with 25 minutes to go they brought on two really good strikers (Cureton and Murphy).
"They didn't have an attempt on target all game."
Dagenham & Redbridge boss Wayne Burnett told BBC London 94.9:
"We have to be better, I can't fault the players' character, work rate and effort, but at some points in the game we lacked a little bit of quality when we got in good areas.
"I don't think they've really threatened our goal, we didn't really threatened theirs, but second half I thought we looked the more likely to score, but we haven't done.
"They were resilient and they defended well, but we did get in good positions and just didn't capitalise."
