Carlisle boss Keith Curle says his players deserve credit despite their FA Cup first round loss to Peterborough.
Christian Burgess headed a stoppage-time winner as the League One side fought back to win 2-1.
"It was a disappointment because it was an opportunity to stay in the FA Cup," Curle told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"But there are a lot of positives to take, players took new instructions on board, built themselves a platform and we went out there and played."
Defeat was Carlisle's fourth in five games in all competitions, with Curle's side only three points and one place above the relegation zone in League Two.
