Chester 2-2 Bristol Rovers

Chester scored two goals in three minutes as they fought back to earn a thrilling draw against Bristol Rovers.

Nathan Blissett put the visitors ahead shortly after half-time as he converted Matt Taylor's pinpoint cross and Tom Parkes lashed in to double the lead.

Rhys Oates pulled one back for Chester as he fired in Craig Mahon's cross.

Two minutes later the hosts completed a fine comeback when Matty Hughes reacted quickest to head Sean McConville's cross beyond keeper Steve Mildenhall.

Bristol Rovers boss Darrell Clarke told BBC Radio Bristol:

"A crazy 10 minutes has killed us, hasn't it? I thought we dominated for long periods of the game, our shape, our discipline was excellent.

"I asked for a bit better quality second half, we got that and scored two good goals. But we've had a crazy 10 minutes all over the park where we haven't made the right decisions.

"It's another frustrating afternoon for us, coming to Chester, who've won five out of the last six home games and are in great form themselves, but we've been pretty dominant at times.

"While there are a lot of positives, there's a very a very deflated changing room because we feel we've chucked two points down the pan."
