Leighton Baines could be fit to face West Ham after hamstring injury
Everton full-back Leighton Baines could be in line to face West Ham next week after scans showed his hamstring injury was not as serious as first feared.
The 29-year-old withdrew from the England squad on Friday after sustaining the problem in training.
He will miss England's matches against Slovenia on Saturday and Scotland on Tuesday but scans revealed it was a grade one tear, the least serious.
Baines has played in all 11 Premier League games for the Toffees this term.
"He will continue to be monitored by our medical team and, although he remains a doubt for next Saturday, he has not yet been ruled out of the game," Everton said on their website.
Everton, who are 10th in the top flight after drawing their last two league games, host Sam Allardyce's fourth-placed Hammers at the weekend.
