Sunderland fined £20,000 after row in Everton game
Sunderland have been fined £20,000 after admitting a Football Association charge arising from the 1-1 draw with Everton on 9 November.
The club was charged for failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion following the decision to award Everton a penalty.
Gus Poyet's side surrounded referee Lee Mason after he gave a spot-kick for a foul on Everton's Seamus Coleman.
Leighton Baines scored from the resulting kick to earn Everton a point.
