Ezequiel Lavezzi sent Paris St-Germain to the top of the French league on Friday by scoring a late winner against Metz.
The Argentina forward slid home a rebound after Metz goalkeeper Johann Carrasso had denied Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
PSG are now two points ahead of Marseille who face Bordeaux on Sunday.
The Ligue 1 champions looked to be cruising after racing into a 2-0 lead after only 16 minutes.
Javier Pastore opened the scoring with a neat chip before Metz defender Gaetan Bussmann turned a free-kick from Lavezzi into his own net.
However, PSG blew that advantage when striker Modibo Maiga converted two penalties in the second half.
But Lavezzi pounced on the goal-line to ensure unbeaten PSG won their fifth league match in a row.
