Welsh Premier League & non-League round-up
Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League
Bala Town 4-2 Prestatyn Town: Prestatyn led 2-0 within 11 minutes with goals by Ross Weaver and Jack Lewis, but found themselves all square five minutes later as Kenny Lunt and Lee Hunt hit-back for Bala. Hunt was on target again just before the interval after Mark Connolly had put had put the home team ahead. Remarkably, there were no goals in a second half that never lived up to the excitement of the first.
Bangor City 2-2 Abertystwyth Town: Bangor's Les Davies scored at both ends in a dramatic final 20 minutes at the BookPeople Stadium. His 78th minute strike put Bangor 2-1 up after Aber's Geoff Kellaway had cancelled out Sion Edwards' early strike. But with the points seemingly in the bag, Davies deflected a corner into his own net in the 90th minute.
Gap Connahs Quay 1-1 Cefn Druids: Gary O'Toole's 68th-minute headed goal earned a point for Quay after Lee Healey had put the visitors ahead six minutes earlier.
Rhyl 2-2 The New Saints: Rhyl fought back to secure a point at home to Welsh Premier League leaders The New Saints. Greg Draper and Chris Seargeant gave the visitors a 2-0 interval lead but Stefan Halewood and Ashley Stott secured a vital point for Greg Strong's side.
Newtown 1-0 Airbus UK Broughton: Craig Williams' first half penalty was enough to see Newtown beat Airbus UK at Latham Park.
Port Talbot Town 2-0 Carmarthen Town: Two goals in three minutes secured victory for Port Talbot over Mark Aizlewood's side, who had Liam Thomas sent off just before the break. Liam McCreesh put the home side in front on 74 minutes, before Luke Bowen sealed the win three minutes later.
