Second-placed Woking beat Altrincham to close the gap on Conference leaders Barnet to seven points.
John Goddard's effort was tipped over by Altrincham keeper Stuart Coburn, before the visitors had a Tom Marshall effort ruled out for a foul on keeper Ross Worner.
Jack Marriott put Woking in front by getting the final touch to a Scott Rendell header.
And Rendell secured the points by finishing off Josh Payne's pass.
It ended a run of back-to-back wins for Altrincham, who remain 17th.
