Brighton striker Craig Mackail-Smith has returned to Peterborough after agreeing a one-month loan deal.
The 30-year-old left the Posh in 2011, having netted 99 goals during his four years at London Road.
He will be reunited with Aaron Mclean, who rejoined the club on loan from Bradford last week, to rekindle the partnership known as the Mac Attack.
The pair scored a combined total of 183 goals between 2007 and 2011, helping Posh to three promotions.
Scotland international Mackail-Smith missed the majority of last season through injury, but has 21 goals in 91 Championship games for the Seagulls.
"It's a strange feeling being back here and seeing some familiar faces," he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
"I've been injured and I need to get playing minutes. Brighton wouldn't allow me to go to the Championship, which is understandable, so Peterborough was the next perfect option.
"Aaron and I played a long time together. I think it will only be a matter of time to get used to what we used to do."
