Guernsey FC goalkeeper Tom Creed has been dropped in favour of Polish keeper Jacob Machlowski for their trip to Carshalton Athletic.

Creed's omission comes after he posted abusive comments on social media following Guernsey's in the Isthmian league Division One South last week.

Machlowski plays for Guernsey Rangers in the island's Priaulx League.

He will become the first Pole ever to play for the Green Lions.

Creed has been Guernsey's first choice for their midweek away games this season as Chris Tardif, the club's former professional goalkeeper, is unable to travel during the week.

Manager Tony Vance told BBC Radio Guernsey last week that he would raise the issue of Creed's online postings with the goalkeeper, who has conceded 19 goals in his last three appearances for the Green Lions.
