Guernsey FC's awful run of results continued as they were beaten 3-0 by relegation-threatened Walton Casuals in the Isthmian League Division One South.

Boss Tony Vance had said it was a must-win game for the islanders, but Luke Medely and Scott Day scored early on.

Medely added a third three minutes from full time at Footes Lane as Guernsey's Polish goalkeeper Jacob Machlowski had a home debut to forget.

The result left Guernsey just four points above the relegation zone.

The Green Lions, who have won just three games way from home all season, now go into a run of three successive matches off-island Whitstable Town, Worthing and Sittingbourne.
