Bristol Rovers have signed Notts County's Fabian Spiess on a month-long emergency loan after injuries to their two senior goalkeepers.
The Pirates had to play defender Mark McChrystal in goal for 50 minutes of Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Wrexham, after first-choice Steve Mildenhall was taken off with a knee problem.
Mildenhall's back-up Will Puddy is also currently sidelined.
Spiess, 20, has made two appearances for Notts County this season.
The German keeper came through the academy system at the League One club, who have a 24-hour recall clause in his loan deal.
Meanwhile, Rovers have confirmed 35-year-old Mildenhall has suffered medial collateral ligament damage to his knee and will be out of action for a minimum of four to six weeks.
