Chesterfield 0-1 Bradford City

Billy Clarke's spectacular second-half goal was enough for Bradford to claim victory over 10-man Chesterfield.

Jon Stead headed over from six yards for the Bantams, before Chesterfield's Armand Gnanduillet wasted a chance.

The Spireites were reduced to 10 men in the 48th minute when Sam Morsy was dismissed after he appeared to catch Andy Halliday with his arm.

Bradford took advantage when Clarke marked his 27th birthday with a superb strike from just outside the box.

Jay O'Shea was denied by Bradford keeper Jordan Pickford as the visitors held on for three points, but they remained 10th in the table, a point outside the play-off places, with Chesterfield slipping to 13th.
