Match ends, Hamilton Academical 2, Dundee 1.
Hamilton got back to winning ways with an entertaining victory over Dundee at New Douglas Park.
Tony Andreu headed the hosts into an early lead before Mickael Antoine-Curier unleashed a volley past Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain for the second.
Both scorers passed up chances before Greg Stewart reduced the deficit with a low left-foot shot into the net.
Dundee's Gary Harkins was sent off despite having already been substituted as tempers frayed at the end.
That came after an angry exchange between players from both teams on the touchline but Hamilton had plenty to be happy about after ending a run of one win in seven.
Accies manager Alex Neil named himself in the starting XI for the first time since the League Cup win over Motherwell in September as he looked to recreate his side's early season form.
And, within the opening minutes, his team were in front.
Dundee thought they had cleared a corner but Grant Gillespie put the ball back into the danger area for Mikey Devlin, and Andreu raced to the front post to bullet his knock-on past the helpless Bain.

With Dundee rattled, Hamilton took control and by the quarter-hour mark they were 2-0 ahead.
Stephen Hendrie looked to be no threat to the Dundee defence but his cross to Antoine-Curier at the back post was inch perfect.
The striker took it first time on the volley and, although Bain got a hand to his shot, there was far too much power in it to keep it out.
Accies remained the more dangerous team - Andreu and Ali Crawford both whistling shots just over.
Dundee were trying to get forward but Jim McAllister's turn and shot before the break was the first time Michael McGovern had dirtied his gloves.
Hamilton were beginning to look more like the side that had led the Scottish Premiership table earlier in the season, and both Andreu and Antoine Curier could have added to their tallies with driven low efforts that skidded narrowly wide.
Dundee needed some inspiration, and they got it with a superb goal from substitute Stewart.
With one simple turn he was able to deceive three Accies players before racing forward and unleashing a low shot past McGovern.

It was his ninth goal in 18 appearances and it breathed new life into a game that looked to be slipping away from Paul Hartley's men.
Hamilton responded with Darian Mackinnon having an effort saved and Hendrie smashing a low shot by a post.
The game was still alive and, after Stewart had a shot saved for the visitors, 17-year-old Craig Wighton brought the ball down in the area and curled just wide.
The visitors' frustration got the better of them and after an exchange on the touchline Dundee's Harkins was given a second booking for getting involved.
