Mark Phillips extends Aldershot stay from AFC Wimbledon
Aldershot Town have extended the loan spell of AFC Wimbledon defender Mark Phillips until 6 January.
The 32-year-old sustained a thigh muscle injury in the FA Cup first-round tie against Portsmouth at Fratton Park but has returned to training this week.
Phillips, who won the 2008-09 League Two title under Aldershot boss Andy Scott at Brentford, played seven times for the Shots in March and April 2014.
His previous clubs include Millwall, Darlington, Brentford and Southend,
He was named Southend United's player of the season in 2011-12 and made a total of 114 appearances for the Shrimpers, as part of a career spanning over 250 games.
