Brentford's Toumani Diagouraga has signed a two-year contract extension.
The French midfielder, 27, was out of favour at Griffin Park earlier this year and
But he has been in excellent form since being given a chance in the Championship and the club have moved to extend his deal, which was due to expire at the end of the season.
"Toumani is a player that has worked tirelessly to break into the team," said manager Mark Warburton.
"He faced the challenge of being able to deliver a more consistent level of performance.
"We were aware of his ability, but Toumani himself knew that with the move to Championship football the demands on him would grow. We are delighted with the way he has responded."
Diagouraga has made 137 league appearances since signing for Brentford from Peterborough in 2010 following a spell on loan at the west London club.
