Sheffield United 1-1 Walsall

Sheffield United were brought back down to earth after their midweek victory in the League Cup as Tom Bradshaw's header earned visitors Walsall a point.

Jose Baxter had struck the Walsall crossbar at the end of the first half.

Chris O'Grady's low finish put United in front shortly after half-time when Baxter had found him in lots of space.

Bradshaw levelled three minutes later from Jordan Cook's cross and the hosts had to settle for a point, Bob Harris going closest to a finding a winner.

The draw meant United missed the chance to fully capitalise on League One leaders Bristol City's defeat and lost ground to promotion rivals Milton Keynes Dons and Preston.

Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"It was frustrating, especially having taken the lead.

"We've got our noses in front in the last two matches and not gone on and won, so it is a bit frustrating.

"We've got to give ourselves five or ten minutes to keep a lead. It gave them a lift getting back into the game so soon."
