Bury 2-2 York City

Bury threw away a two-goal lead against draw specialists York to extend their winless run to five league games.

After a goalless first half, the home side went in front when Andrew Tutte's deflected strike found the top corner.

Daniel Nardiello's near post header made it two before Jake Hyde nodded home Michael Coulson's cross to pull one back for the Minstermen.

Luke Summerfield's 20-yard free-kick levelled the scores and York hung on for their 11th draw of the season.

York City manager Russ Wilcox told BBC Radio York:

"I just thought it was a magnificent performance.

"There's a tinge of disappointment in there, but there shouldn't be when you're 2-0 down against, for me, a team that's going to be a top-seven team.

"Even though they're on a bad run now, there's enough quality in their group to finish in the play-offs.

"We've created enough opportunities to win. We kept chipping away and we got our rewards in the end."
