Keatings struck low to put Hearts ahead

Scottish Championship leaders Hearts maintained their nine-point advantage over Rangers with a comfortable home win against Alloa Athletic.

James Keatings and Callum Paterson scored with first-half strikes to defeat the Wasps.

Stephen Simmons hit the frame of the goal before half-time in Alloa's best attack.

And, in the second half, Miguel Pallardo's 20-yard curler for Hearts came back off the crossbar.
