Oldham Athletic's derby against Rochdale has been postponed the day before the match because of expected freezing temperatures and snow.
The Latics' safety advisory group held discussions with the Football League about forecasted conditions and a decision was made.
"Player and spectator safety are always the primary considerations," said Oldham chief executive Neil Joy.
A new date for the fixture at Boundary Park is yet to be announced.
"Areas of the club's footpath are treacherous and with the ground temperatures not expected to rise above freezing over the next 24 hours and snow forecast before, during and after the game, it's the right decision," Joy added.
