Bristol City moved five points clear at the top of League One with a comfortable victory over Peterborough.
Centre-back Aden Flint scored his fifth goal of the season to put City ahead, stabbing home after a Marlon Pack corner bounced around the box.
Their lead was doubled when Joe Bryan's shot was parried onto the bar by keeper Ben Alnwick and Kieran Agard nodded in.
Posh rarely threatened and their only chance on target from Erhun Oztumer was gathered by Frank Fielding.
Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill told BBC Radio Bristol:
"That was a big win for us tonight. After getting beaten on Saturday, that was a big win.
"I thought they worked their socks off. We controlled the game. We were comfortable.
"We were worthy of that and we're also pleased with the clean sheet."
Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:
"We've conceded from a corner and a long throw. They're poor goals to concede when you come to a place like Bristol City.
"We huffed and puffed but that was about it.
"We said at half-time we wanted more composure. I felt like we lacked a bit of belief. There was not enough conviction from the whole performance."
