Cambridge United and AFC Wimbledon both missed penalties in a goalless draw in League Two.

Adebayo Akinfenwa's spot-kick minutes after the break was saved by U's keeper Chris Dunn, following Josh Coulson's foul on Adebayo Azeez.

And when Sammy Moore handled in the Dons area, James Shea kept Robbie Simpson's effort out.

Wimbledon could have gone within four points of the the play-offs with a win, but remain 10th.

Cambridge had the best chance of the latter stages, but Sullay Kaikai dragged wide and Richard Money's men are now winless in seven league games.
