Guernsey FC: Ross Allen to increase first team involvement
Guernsey FC striker Ross Allen's involvement with the first team will increase over the coming weeks, says assistant manager Colin Fallaize.
The club's record goalscorer, who hit the target 54 times last season, has been out with a knee injury since September.
But he came on as a substitute in Saturday's
"I fully expect Ross now to be involved in every squad that's available to him," Fallaize told BBC Radio Guernsey.
Allen had scored eight goals in seven games this season before his three-and-a-half month absence and in all, has 175 from 140 appearances since Guernsey FC was founded in 2011.
"His match fitness will improve with the more minutes he gets on the pitch," Fallaize added.
"I think the whole idea mentally and physically for Ross was to give him some time on the pitch and getting him out there in the atmosphere of things."
Guernsey have won three of their last four matches and lie 15th in the Isthmian League Division One South.
