AFC Telford United boss Steve Kittrick has made his first signings since taking over by bringing in Notts County defender Kyle Dixon and Bradford Park Avenue midfielder Jack Rea.

Dixon, 20, who had previously been loaned out to Conference North side Boston United, will spend the rest of the season at the Bucks Head.

He will replace full-back Ryan Higgins, who is set to sign for Chester.

Rea is reunited with Kittrick, having first played for him at Guiseley.

The pair are set to make their debuts in Sunday's trip to Aldershot when Conference bottom side Telford will start the day 14 points adrift of safety.

Having first taken charge of Telford's FA Trophy first round replay win on penalties at Chester the Monday before Christmas, Kittrick's Bucks are now unbeaten in three matches.

They drew both their two Christmas bottom-of-the-table clashes with Midlands rivals Nuneaton Town, 4-4 at Liberty Way on Boxing Day, then 0-0 at the Bucks Head on New Year's Day.

Kittrick is also expected to bring in another goalkeeper to provide competition for current number one Freddy Hall and Jonathan Hedge.
