Falkirk have signed midfielder Mark Kerr and defender Aaron Muirhead after they were released by Queen of the South and Partick Thistle.
Kerr, 32, started his career at Falkirk and made more than 100 appearances for them between 1998 and 2003.
Centre-back Muirhead, 24, joined the Jags in 2012 from Annan Athletic and scored eight goals for the Maryhill men in more than 70 appearances.
Both players go into the Bairns' squad for Saturday's game against Alloa.
Falkirk manager Peter Houston knows Kerr well, having worked with him at Dundee United while he was assistant to Craig Levein.
Kerr featured more than 150 times for the Tannadice outfit and also had spells at Aberdeen, Dundee and Dunfermline.
Muirhead was a product of the Ayr United youth system and joined Annan in 2008, scoring 15 goals in more than 100 matches.
His last game for Partick was the 1-0 defeat by Celtic on 3 December.
