Striker Kabongo Tshimanga has signed a professional contract with MK Dons after scoring 36 goals for their under-18s side so far this season.
The 18-year-old has agreed a one-and-a-half-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
Tshimanga, who first joined the club at under-10 level, made his first-team debut as a substitute in Dons' FA Cup win over Port Vale in November.
"It really is a dream come true," Tshimanga told the club website.
"I'm glad to be able to follow in the footsteps of others who have come through the academy to sign professionally."
The deal was announced pitch-side before Dons' FA Cup second-round exit against Chesterfield on Friday.
Manager Karl Robinson said the teenager has been "magnificent" for the club to date.
"To score the amount of goals he's scored for the under-18s before Christmas, it's phenomenal," said Robinson.
"He's a rough diamond and if we can polish that off then we'll have a top, top player on our hands."
