Conference side Chester have signed full-back Ryan Higgins from AFC Telford and midfielder Josh Green on loan from Fleetwood Town.
Right-back Higgins, 20, who was released by Birmingham last summer, joins after a seven-day approach because he was on non-contract terms.
Green, 19, who began his career at Macclesfield Town, is yet to make his first appearance for Fleetwood.
Both players are still awaiting Football Association clearance to play.

Liverpool-born Higgins has been a Telford ever present since signing as a free agent in mid-September following his release by Birmingham City.
His original decision to sign only on non-contract terms with Telford was because he still wanted the chance to play league football and did not want to be restricted by a contract.
He was offered an extended deal by the Bucks, who parted company with manager Liam Watson, the man who signed him, in mid-December.
But Higgins pulled out of Telford's New Year's Day fixture at home to Nuneaton, on the advice of his agent, and has now completed his move.
