Match ends, Aberdeen 3, Dundee 3.
Two late goals saved a point for Premiership leaders Aberdeen as Dundee ended their run of seven clean-sheet wins with some stunning finishing.
David Goodwillie fired the Dons into the lead after seven minutes.
Dundee had rarely threatened until thumping finishes from Gary Irvine and Greg Stewart, then Gary Harkins after the break, shook the home side.
But Jonny Hayes' penalty gave the Dons hope and Ryan Jack stabbed home a late equaliser in a furious finish.
With Celtic having eased to a 2-0 Saturday morning win away to Hamilton Academical, it leaves the Dons two points ahead of reigning champions, who have two games in hand.
The Dons' last defeat - and last goal conceded - had come at the hands of Dundee in the Scottish Cup back in November.
Yet it looked like it was going to be a straightforward three points for a Dons side understandably left unchanged by manager Derek McInnes despite Willo Flood's recovery from injury.
Visiting goalkeeper Scott Bain had already been tested by a Mark Reynolds volley by the time, confident and fleet of foot, the hosts sped into a seventh-minute lead.

When Irvine was dispossessed by Niall McGinn, Adam Rooney was presented with the chance to find Goodwillie at the back post with a low cross and the former Blackburn Rovers forward drove the ball high into the roof of the net.
Dundee were being swamped by the red tide sweeping towards their goal and the Dons missed a great chance to extend their lead.
Goodwillie's cut-back found Hayes in space 12 yards from goal, but Bain somehow managed to claw the ball off the goal-line and Rooney could only poke wide at the far post.
Dundee looked a bedraggled bunch until they equalised out of the blue as neat interplay on the edge of the penalty box ended with Irvine making up for his earlier error by lashing a drive past goalkeeper Scott Brown.
Their confidence suddenly boosted, it was the visitors' turn to charge forward once more and a beautiful back-heel by Luka Tankulic, who had come into the side along with Gary Harkins in place of Paul McGowan and David Clarkson, set up Stewart to celebrate his new contract by firing low into the corner from 16 yards.
Rooney had a great chance to equalise shortly after the break when the striker found the face of a post with a scuffed shot after a good run from Peter Pawlett.
When Harkins pounced on a poor Ash Taylor clearance to send a stunning volley past Brown from the edge of the penalty box, it looked like game over.
However, the Dons dug deep and Goodwillie had an effort cleared off the line by Kostadin Gadzhalov before the Bulgarian helped usher in a grandstand finish by bringing down Lawrence Shankland for Hayes to score from the spot.
The Dons threw everything forward and got their reward when Shay Logan's lob found Jack at the back post to provide a dramatic finish.
