Peter MacDonald marked his return to Morton with a goal that earned the Greenock side a point.
The hosts moved ahead when Grant Adam punched a corner to Morgyn Neill, who lifted a shot beyond the goalkeeper.
However, just two minutes after the break Morton were level as MacDonald, who returned to the club this week, applied a cool finish.
Thomas O'Ware had a great chance to win it for the visitors but nodded over the bar.
