Defender Markus Olsson has extended his deal with Championship side Blackburn Rovers until the summer of 2016.
The Sweden international, 26, has made 23 appearances so far this season - all of which have been league starts.
Olsson has played 72 games for Rovers since arriving from Swedish side Halmstads BK in February 2012.
"It's very pleasing. We're playing well and when the team is doing well you want to be a part of it going forward," Olsson told the club website.
"I've been happy with how I've played this season. I think I've done well in a lot of games, but I'm always looking to improve my game, in every aspect, and get better."
Blackburn are six points adrift of the play-off places ahead of Sunday's Championship match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Ewood Park.
