Arbroath's Allan Moore wins manager award for December

Arbroath's excellent run of results in December has been acknowledged as Allan Moore won the Scottish Professional Football League manager of the month award for League Two.

The Red Lichties extended their lead at the top of the table across the month with four wins and a draw.

They drew 1-1 draw at Elgin City before recording narrow victories over Annan, East Stirlingshire, Berwick and East Fife.

The former Stirling Albion manager became Morton boss in 2010 and led them to a second-place finish in the Scottish First Division in 2012-13 before a poor run of results at the start of the 2013-14 season
