Yeovil's Simon Gillett and Kevin Dawson are both set for long-term absences.

Gillett has suffered a recurrence of a knee injury, while Dawson is struggling with a pelvic problem.

The midfielders both played in the FA Cup third round defeat by Manchester United this month, but left out for Saturday's 2-0 loss at Barnsley.

The League One's bottom side are also going to be without defender Ben Nugent for four games following his sending off at Oakwell.

Asked about potential loan signings, manager Gary Johnson said: "A defender is going to be our number on priority now. We'll need one is as quickly as possible."

Yeovil have lost their last five games in all competitions and are the lowest scorers in the division, and Johnson conceded that a new striker is also needed in the squad.

"When we have a couple of chances, we still can't stick them in," he told BBC Somerset. "It's always been a priority and we need to work hard to get one in in that position."
