Rochdale have signed forward Febian Brandy on a deal until the end of the season, after his release by Rotherham.

He moved to the Millers last summer but made just one substitute appearance and was loaned out to Crewe.

Brandy, 25, started his career at Manchester United but failed to feature for the Reds and was loaned to Swansea, Hereford and Gillingham.

The ex-England Under-20 international has also featured for Notts County, Sheffield United and Walsall.

Speaking after the 2-1 win at Bradford on Saturday, where striker Calvin Andrew scored a last-minute winner, Dale boss Keith Hill told BBC Radio Manchester: "It's getting us closer to the 50-point mark and we'll see where we are after that.

"I'm delighted for Calvin. He's a great person, and a very, very good player and he's been unfortunate as we've got goalscorers who are scoring and playing really well.

"He's a brilliant substitute and he's probably not got as many starts as he should do."
