Japan striker Shinji Okazaki has confirmed Leicester City are keen to sign him but says he will not be considering his club future while on international duty at the Asian Cup.
German Bundesliga side Mainz have rejected an £8m bid from the Foxes for the 28-year-old.
Okazaki told BBC Sport: "For the time being that's finished for me. I will stop thinking about it.
"I'm a Mainz player and for now I want to focus on the Asian Cup."
Okazaki has scored eight times in 16 appearances for Mainz this season, and has 41 international goals.
He was among the goalscorers as Japan beat Palestine 4-0 in their Asian Cup opener on Monday and also scored against Colombia at last year's World Cup in Brazil.
