Hearts defender Jordan McGhee has signed a new deal that will keep him at Tynecastle until the summer of 2017.
The 18-year-old, who has made 17 appearances and scored two goals this season, was due to be out of contract in the summer.
"Jordan is one of the top prospects in the Scottish game," head coach Robbie Neilson told the Hearts website.
"It is good to get his future tied down and this gives him time to develop."
McGhee, who can play at right back or centre back, made his first-team debut at the age of 16 against St Mirren in May 2013.
A product of the Hearts Football Academy, the teenager has also featured regularly for Scotland Under-21s.
"He has already played a lot of games for Hearts and done well, and he will continue to be part of the team," added Neilson.
