Alfreton Town have signed Joe Ironside on an 18-month deal after the striker was released by Sheffield United.
Ironside, 21, scored four goals in 16 games for the Reds during a loan spell earlier this season and was then on loan with Hartlepool United.
Last week Alfreton, who are in the Conference relegation zone, announced they had secured a six-figure deal with American investors.
"I'm extremely excited. The club has ambitious plans," said Ironside.
"I enjoyed my time on loan earlier in the season and I can't wait to get started again. I am hopeful I can help keep the club up."
Ironside made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Blades - but only four starts - and was part of the club's FA Youth Cup final side in 2011.
