Graham Kemp has resigned as manager of Southern League Premier side Dorchester Town after four months in charge.
The Magpies are third from bottom of the table and have lost seven of their last eight league games.
Experienced midfielder Nick Crittenden has been placed in charge of the side on a caretaker basis.
"Football is a results business and everyone accepts recent results have not been good enough, despite valiant performances," read a club statement.
"The board would like to thank Graham for his hard work dedication and enthusiasm that he has shown during his time as manager, in particular he created a positive atmosphere within the club.
"If anybody deserves success in football it is Graham. The board sends him good wishes for the future."
