Watford add Dean Austin to coaching staff
Former Watford assistant manager Dean Austin has returned to the club as an assistant coach.
The 44-year-old worked under Brendan Rodgers at Vicarage Road between 2008 and 2009, and was also the current Liverpool boss's number two at Reading.
Hornets boss Slavisa Jokanovic had wanted a British coach on his staff.
Jokanovic said: "Dean will be key in getting a message across to the squad as will his knowledge of British football."
Ex-defender Austin started his career in the Watford academy, but never made a first-team appearance, and instead had spells at Southend United, Tottenham and Crystal Palace.
