Alex Marrow: Carlisle United terminate midfielder's contract

Alex Marrow made five appearances for Carlisle following his summer move from Blackburn

Carlisle United have terminated the contract of midfielder Alex Marrow by mutual consent.

Marrow, 24, had been in negotiations with Carlisle regarding his future, with both parties keen on his exit.

The former Blackburn midfielder joined the Cumbrians in July on a one-year deal and made five appearances.

Boss Keith Curle was keen to offload some members of his squad this window in order to free up finance to make his own additions to the player pool.
