Linfield have brought in defender Glenn Belezika on loan from Stockport County until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old will link up with former Stockport striker Warren Feeney, who is now player/manager with the Irish Premiership club.
Belezika fills the void left by the return of Jamie Richards to Plymouth Argyll following his loan spell.
"He's a strong, powerful, quick defender who has a great attitude - he's a winner," said Feeney.
Belezika began his career at Oldham Athletic and made four first-team appearances in the Football League for the Latics.
He joined Conference North side Stockport last summer after loan spells at Salisbury City and Hyde.
"I know him well from my time at Oldham and I brought him down to Salisbury on loan when I was assistant manager there," Feeney told Linfield's website.
"He's not afraid to speak out and organise those around him on the pitch. He's going to be a great addition to our squad and I'm really pleased with this signing.
"He's what I would call an old fashioned centre-half but he's certainly one who knows the job he has to do."
Belezika flew into Belfast on Friday and is in line to make his Blues debut, along with fellow new signing Grant McCann, in Saturday's Premiership game against Ballinamallard United at Ferney Park.
