Former Cardiff City captain Danny Malloy has died at his home in Scotland at the age of 84.
Malloy captained the side that won promotion to the old First Division in 1960 - the last time the Bluebirds reached the top-flight before promotion to the Premier League in 2012.
He started his career with Dundee before being signed by Cardiff for £17,500 in 1955.
He left Ninian Park to become player-manager at Doncaster in 1961.
He died in a hospital near Stirling on 14 January and leaves a son, Andy, and daughter, Linda, plus seven grandchildren.
