Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain will stay on loan at League One side Walsall for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old joined the Saddlers in October and has since made 18 appearances, scoring three goals.
"He has developed extremely well during his time with us and fitted in to how we do things here," Walsall manager Dean Smith told the club website.
"He's a talented lad with a fantastic attitude and hopefully his progress will continue during the months ahead."
Cain has scored in Walsall last two matches, a 4-1 defeat by Scunthorpe and 2-0 victory over Colchester.
He added: "I've really enjoyed the first three months here. It's been a great experience and a real learning curve for me.
"It's nice to know that I will be here for the remainder of the season now, so I can settle down and really kick on."
