Warrenpoint continued their run of impressive recent form as they crushed their fellow Premiership strugglers Ballinamallard United at Milltown.
Stephen Hughes hit a hat-trick after Liam Bagnall and John McGuigan goals had put Warrenpoint in control.
Hughes's 29th-minute goal left Warrenpoint 3-0 ahead with Daniel Hughes firing the fourth on 51.
Strikes on 74 and 82 completed Hughes's hat-trick with Darren Forsythe striking the seventh from distance on 87.
Warrenpoint had been at the foot of the table right from the early part of the season but their good run of form now has them three points ahead of bottom club Institute.
For their part, Ballinamallard were suffering their seventh straight away defeat and they are now only a point above Warrenpoint and four above Institute.
Warrenpoint took the lead on 14 minutes as Bagnall hammered home from 20 yards after a Daniel Hughes free-kick had come back off Ballinamallard's defensive wall.
Hughes was in action for the county Down side before heading to Bolton Wanderers for a four-day trial next week.
