Garry Wood netted the winner as two goals in as many second-half minutes gave Montrose a win over Annan.
Montrose's Jonathan Crawford hit the post with a header in the 42nd minute.
Annan went ahead in the 63rd minute when Rabin Omar fired in on his first league start.
But Montrose levelled two minutes later when Annan goalkeeper Alex Mitchell knocked the ball into the back of his own net and the hosts took the lead a minute later when Wood swept home.
