Archie MacPhee scored from the penalty spot and Daniel Moore hit a late second as Elgin City beat 10-man Berwick.
Rangers had to play for an hour a man down after Johnny Fairbairn was shown a straight red card in the 31st minute for bringing down Craig Gunn.
William Bald saved a header from Elgin's Dennis Wyness but the breakthrough came when Devon Jacobs brought down Craig Thomson in the area and MacPhee tucked in the penalty.
And Moore slotted in City's second.
