Tuesday's Conference fixture between Alfreton Town and Grimsby Town has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Alfreton officials were confident the game would go ahead earlier in the day, but a decision to cancel it was made at 17:45 GMT following an inspection.

Grimsby would have gone second in the Conference table with a win, while Alfreton were keen for the three points as they battle for survival.

No date has been set for the rearranged game.
