Stoke defender Robert Huth has won 19 caps for Germany, scoring two goals

Cardiff City are targeting Stoke City's German international centre-back Robert Huth.

Huth, 30, has not started a Premier League game this season, coming on as a substitute once and making three cup appearances.

Cardiff manager Russell Slade has said he wants to sign "one or two" players before the transfer window shuts.

Former Chelsea trainee Huth has played more than 150 games for Stoke since joining from Middlesbrough in 2009.
