Hamilton Academical have re-signed Jason Scotland until the end of the season - just two weeks after the striker was released by the club.

The 35-year-old had his request to leave New Douglas Park granted in order to find more first-team football.

But the former Dundee United, Swansea City and Ipswich forward is now back in South Lanarkshire.

Scotland scored one of the goals that helped Hamilton win promotion in a play-off win against Hibernian.

The Trinidadian last featured as a substitute in a 1-0 loss at Kilmarnock on 27 December, having found the net twice in 14 previous appearances.
