Conference side Southport have signed Tranmere striker George Donnelly on loan until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old had been made available for transfer by Rovers boss Micky Adams at the start of the month.
He moved to Tranmere from Rochdale last August but failed to score in 13 appearances for the League Two side.
"George is an experienced striker who will strengthen our squad, adding competition and a variation to our forwards," said boss Paul Carden.
The former Plymouth, Luton, Stockport, Macclesfield and Fleetwood forward is available for the game against Gateshead on Saturday.
